The Team at the Orchard Clinic Kelley Waters DO BSc (Hons) Ost. Registered Osteopath GOsC Kelley qualified from the European School of Osteopathy in 1999 and worked in various busy practices before establishing the Orchard Clinic in 2002. She is passionate about her vocation and has chosen like-minded practitioners to work alongside her in Upper Basildon, allowing her to create a caring, professional health clinic providing the very best care for each client. Kelley lives in Yattendon and is married to Dominic and they have two children, Ben and Georgie. Claire Shepherd DO BSc (Hons) Ost. Registered Osteopath GOsC Claire qualified from the European School of Osteopathy and has worked in local established practices in the South of England. She wanted to be an Osteopath from the age of 9 years old after osteopathic treatment made life changing improvements to her health, this has influenced her greatly and has made her extremely passionate and dedicated to osteopathy. She loves treating a variety of problems from every day complaints to the more unusual problems and the management of pathologies or long term illness. She uses a wide range of techniques including cranial, structural and visceral, among others. Claire enjoys treating people of all ages from newborn babies to adults and the elderly. She also treats animals and in most cases animals respond exceedingly well to osteopathic treatment and can be treated for all sorts of complaints including lameness, behavioural changes, loss of performance, arthritic conditions and age related problems and much more. Amy Collins DO BSc (Hons) Ost. Registered Osteopath GOsC Amy, like Kelley and Claire, qualified from the European School of Osteopathy and enjoys using a wide range of techniques. She finds treating adults, children and babies very rewarding. Carrie Schmidt MICHT Massage Therapist Carrie Schmidt has worked as a remedial massage therapist since 2001 and has been involved with the Orchard Clinic since it opened in October 2002. She combines deep soft tissue massage with exercise and stretching and advice, while working closely with the other therapists at the Clinic, ensuring the most effective treatment for her clients. Carrie lives near Reading with her husband and baby boy. Natalie Noakes PTS(Dip), MISRM, SMA, REPs. Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist Natalie Noakes is a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist. She works with patients to address tension, injuries and muscle imbalances through a combination of techniques including deep tissue massage and stretching. Her areas of special interest are in working with posture related issues in both adults and children, and using exercise to assist rehabilitation. Natalie lives in Goring and is married with two daughters. She is also a qualified Personal Trainer and likes to run, play tennis and do Pilates and Yoga. Su Cross MA LSSM (Dip) Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist and Hot Stone Therapist Su studied at the London School of Sports Massage over 10 years ago. She specialises in deep tissue massage to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body's soft tissues. She takes a particular interest in helping cyclists and runners with leg strains. Su also uses Hot Stone Massage for anyone who would like the ultimate in deep tissue tension release and relaxation. Su lives in Hampstead Norreys and has three children. Her main hobbies are skiing, sailing and generally keeping fit in the swimming pool or gym. Julia Deacon Massage Therapist Like Carrie, Julia studied at Newbury College and is very much enjoying working as part of the clinic massage team. She uses deep soft tissue release techniques to aid relief of muscular aches and pains and stimulate recovery from injury. She gains great satisfaction from improving the wellbeing of her clients. She lives in the Newbury area and is a working mother of two daughters. Jayne Wells BSc (Hons), MCSP Chartered Physiotherapist Jayne qualified from the University of Brighton in 1999 and offers a range of physiotherapy treatments including sports injuries, post operative care and acupuncture. She worked at the prestigious Wentworth Golf Club for 7 yrs and also runs a clinic in Bradfield Southend. Alison Clark Morris MchS, DPodM HPC Registered Podiatrist While a new member of the Orchard Clinic team, Ali has over 20 years experience within private practice and the NHS. Over this time she has built up a decent understanding on the most appropriate and efficient management options for foot pathology such as corns, callus, ingrowing toenails, athletes foot and heel pain. Lloyd Clark Morris BSc (Hons) MChS, HPC Registered Podiatrist Since graduating with a first class degree from Southampton University, Lloyd has worked within the NHS as well as private practice. His experience extends from nail care, routine chiropody and podiatry treatment, including the treatment of corns and callus, to biomechanical assessment, advice and orthotic prescription. Lloyd and Ali live locally in Bradfield with their three children. Catherine Green MSc., MA,Cert Systemic Family Therapy, GIPD, SRN Catherine is UKCP accredited and a Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. Catherine is an Integrative psychotherapist and counsellor and has many years experience using cognitive, behavioural and person centred therapies to enable her clients to explore their problems and find possible ways forward to solve their issues. She works in the public and private sector and specialises in stress, anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, relationship issues and trauma. Christine Barnes Cloud9 Beauty I.T.E.C qualified . Christine has over 20 years experience and has worked locally at Bradfield College for over 10 years. She was spa manager at the Royal Berkshire Rackets Club and senior therapist at the world famous Wentworth Golf Club. She uses a range of natural organic products. Christine is really enjoying being part of the Orchard Clinic team and is delighted to see some of her local Pangbourne clients at the clinic. Sally Knight Practice Manager Sally is the Practice Manager at The Orchard Clinic. She came out of retirement to assist Kelley at the beginning and has not managed to escape since! Sally lives in Hermitage and she very much enjoys being part of the team; working in the background to help make visits to the Clinic as enjoyable and relaxing as possible for all clients and practitioners. Elaine Miles Receptionist Elaine has worked in administration and reception work for many years. She enjoys working at the Orchard Clinic meeting and greeting clients, making them feel welcome with a cup of tea and supporting the practitioners. She lives in Upper Basildon with her family.
