Pilates Pilates is a fitness regime that focuses on increasing and engaging core stability to correct postural and muscular imbalance and improve balance and co-ordination. In simple terms core stability describes your ability to control the movement and the correct alignment of the central portion of the body – your pelvis, back and torso. This improves your core stability, strengthening your stabilising muscles, improving co-ordination and balance, enhancing neuro-muscular function and improving everyday function. The way Pilates is delivered is very important which is why we offer one 2 one sessions, before moving on to group classes of 8 maximum. |
